Mulitlple Choice Cloze
Одним из самых распространённых упражнений, с которыми изучающие язык встречаются как в тестировании, так и при сдаче всякого рода зарубежных экзаменов — Multiple Choice Cloze. Возможно, Вам просто придётся запомнить название, принятое в англоговорящих странах, вместо привычного «упражнение на выбор вариантов ответа».
Например, в заданиях репетиционного тестирования 3 этапа их сразу три: одно на выбор временной формы глагола, второе на выбор предлога, третье на выбор лексики. Как видите, они самые разнообразные, но суть одна: упражнения множественного выбора направлены на проверку знаний лексики и грамматики в контексте небольшого текста для чтения.
Тестируемым придётся выбрать единственно верный вариант из четырёх, следовательно задание предполагает умение сделать выбор между синонимическими ЛЕ, а также между фразами, значение которых меняется в зависимости от какого-нибудь слова в контексте (предлога, например).
Как следует выполнять подобные упражнения? Алгоритм работы такой:
1. Прочитайте текст, не обращая внимания на пропущенные слова, чтобы получить общее представление, о чём идёт речь.
2. Далее следует вчитаться в текст и сконцентрироваться на вариантах ответа. Для начала исключите варианты, которые явно не подходят. Проще всего это просматривается на примере выбора врeмён. Когда один-два варианта будут исключены, сделать выбор будет проще.
3. Из двух оставшихся вариантов выберите наиболее подходящий.
