How to knit a sock?
We continue speaking about hobbies. A lot of people love knitting, especially knitting socks. Let’s start with some sockabulary. What parts does a sock consist of?

There is some more sockabulary! If you wish to understand English-speaking knitters, it will be useful to learn it too.

Read and translate:
The first thing you need to do is to make cast-on calculations. Measure your foot in its widest point, i.e. across the heel and the instep with a measuring tape. Write down the number. Then knit a little swatch. Count the number of stitches in 10 santimeters and see how many stitches cover 1 sm. Multiply your foot measurement by this number and subtract 15%. The number you’ll get is how many stitches to cast on.
