B9. She worked as a model and also played minor roles in various films before making “Niagara», the film which then made her very popular. In 1954 she married Joe di Maggio, with whom she entertained American troops are fighting in Korea. Her film career ended tragically in 1962, when she died at the age of thirty-six.
